Learn to Bake Bread with Danielle

Have you tried making bread and are dissatisfied with the results? Is it something you’ve always wanted to try, but have never got round to? Perhaps you’ve mastered the basics but want to take the next step? Would you like to give a gift to a friend or family member? Or you’re thinking of buying a Rofco bread oven for use at home?

Why make bread? It’s easier than you think and particularly satisfying to achieve.

Come and bake bread with me. I’ll share the techniques I learnt whilst training professionally in France adapted for your domestic kitchen. I run the courses from my home near Slimbridge.

I learnt breadmaking on an in-depth professional course in France at Ecole Banette in Loiret. The course is designed for people setting up their own bakeries. A qualification is a must in France!

You’ll learn

  • Proven techniques that you’ll be able to replicate at home
  • French recipes adapted for the domestic kitchen
  • Tips for full proof bread every time.

You’ll have fun whilst learning hard. Groups are kept deliberately small making it easier to learn.

Pizza Making Class (Groups of 4 to 6) £25 pp

Pizza making classes last two hours and are held in the evening. Great for an introduction to breadmaking. Bring a group of friends and enjoy a glass of fizz. Find out more about the class

Half Day Courses

Half day courses start at lunch time and include a light lunch and refreshments. Find out more about half-day classes.

Learn to Bake (for novices and improvers) Group classes £85 pp

On the basic course you’ll learn techniques to make good consistent bread with recipes adapted for a home kitchen. You’ll go home laden with bread, recipes and the satisfaction that you’ve learnt a new skill or enhanced your skills.

Baking with Sweet Dough  Group classes £85 pp

Take the basics to the next level and learn to make Viennoise dough a dough used for both sweet and savoury delicacies

Full Day Breadmaking Classes from £100 pp
